Visual Artist and children 2D Animation Trainer with Global Experience

Cristiana is a visual artist living and working in Edinburgh, Scotland. Originally from Italy, Cristiana has followed the artistic path since a very young age. She studied in Bergamo for art and in Milan at IED , Institute of European (2d animation and Illustration). Then she started teaching 2D animation, illustration, graphics and creative workshops for children. She published her children picture book " Meli Yang Ceria" in Singapore in 2016 for Pustaka National Pte Ltd and soon after she moved to Edinburgh (UK) to grow and evolve in fine arts. She followed the year long Painting course at Leith School of Art, (Edinburgh) to progress her oil paint and fine arts technique . Her illustrations have been selected for the AFCC Asian Festival os Children Content 2017, and recently her paintings were shortlisted for an international contest , Prisma Art Prize, Rome and for a big exhibition Art&Cavallo at Verona FieraCavalli. Cristiana develops 2D artistic animation workshops for children and is focused to grow them professionally.

About This Course
What is fun about 2D Animation is about bringing ideas to life A creative 2D animation workshop for children where we will explore the animation technique of stop motion. 5 sessions to be able to create a proper movie, every session we will be filming and animating using a normal camera or a phone. Learn how to create movement and develop a story and character using recycled material. In an animated film, anything can happen – if you can imagine it, we will create it. 1 SPEAKING FRUITS & VEG Learning about talking animation using objects 2 TOY STORY - THE ORIGINS Learning about movement using objects 3 CUT-OUT & PAPER ANIMATION Learning how to create a character and animate it. 4 SPECIAL EFFECTS ( seeds and tree growing) learning how to create a creative special effect 5 ALL SKILLS TOGETHER Learning how to bring all skills together to create a “short movie”
