In this course, future debaters learn the ropes, including the four major types of competitive debate used by middle and high school teams. With a focus on public forum, the most popular type of debate, students practice skills in critical thinking, research, and speaking in order to construct a contention and unfurl a refutation using the most effective tools and techniques.
